Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for acute care at Harris Regional, part of our network in North Carolina. The role focuses on comprehensive assessments, individualized treatment plans, and collaboration with a care team to restore physical function and reduce pain.

You will lead therapy sessions, supervise assistants, and participate in ongoing patient evaluation, with emphasis on safety, efficacy, and patient engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• North Carolina Physical Therapy License is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certs within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessments and develops a plan of care.
• Plans and carries out designed PT programs to improve function and relieve pain.
• Supervises PT assistants, students, and other staff; delegates tasks.
• Evaluates, fits, and adjusts prosthetic/orthotic devices as needed.
• Documents goals, progress, and plans for reevaluation.
• Identifies patient goals and communicates treatment plans clearly.
• Maintains patient safety and quality of care.
