Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking an Acute Care Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across acute care settings, restoring function and reducing pain from disease or injury.

You’ll work with pediatric to geriatric ranges and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The role requires PA or NJ license, CPR certification, and a Doctorate is preferred; weekend coverage includes two weekend days per month and additional weekend-holiday coverage, with on-site duties in

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania or New Jersey (based on work location).
• Doctorate degree preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Successful completion of required affiliations and CEUs to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial patient evaluations and documents results.
• Establishes realistic short- and long-term goals with patients.
• Implements effective therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Provides discharge planning and home-program instruction.
• Supervises PTAs and aides as assigned.
• Accurately bills for services and attends multidisciplinary meetings.
