St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking an Acute Care Physical Therapist to evaluate patients in an acute care setting and implement PT treatment plans to restore function and reduce disability. The role includes establishing goals, administering therapies, and guiding families in home programs.

Responsibilities also cover supervision of PTAs, staff orientation, and participation in quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Formación

• Active Physical Therapist license in PA or NJ per work location.
• Current CPR certification and licensure requirements maintained.
• Doctorate degree preferred for advanced practice when applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Perform and document initial patient evaluations in acute care.
• Set realistic short-term and long-term goals with each patient.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities as prescribed.
• Discharge planning and home program instruction for patients and families.
• Provide on-premises supervision of PTAs and aides.
• Assist in staff orientation and participate in quality initiatives.
