Job summary

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist to facilitate restoration of function and prevent disability by planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy. You will assess patients, set goals, collaborate with the healthcare team, and document interventions as part of a comprehensive care plan.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, an active license, and Basic Life Support/CPR certification, with prior acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Previous acute care experience or similar setting preferred.
• Physical Therapist license required.
• Basic Life Support / CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition upon physician order and at regular intervals during shift.
• Plan, implement and evaluate rehabilitative care and revise plans based on patient response.
• Provide information to patients and healthcare team about treatments and continuing care requirements.
• Monitor delivery of care and communicate with care management regarding variances from plan.
