Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks an experienced Physical Therapist for Acute Care Therapy. The role involves initial exams, implementing and supervising rehab interventions, and coordinating with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

The position is per diem, with a pay rate of $60 per hour and a minimum 8 hours per week, including weekend coverage. Maryland licensure and BLS are required, with advanced degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• 1-year site-specific experience preferred.
• Active Maryland License and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial examination and evaluation to establish impairment, prognosis, and plan of care.
• Provide or supervise therapy interventions aligned with plan of care.
• Reexamine patients as needed and adjust the plan of care accordingly.
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up with the care team.
