Adventist HealthCare’s Shady Grove Medical Center seeks an experienced Physical Therapist to support acute care therapy. You will perform initial exams, develop plans of care, and supervise therapy interventions across rehab sites as needed.

You’ll coordinate with the care team, discharge planning, and ongoing progress assessments, while maintaining professional development and schedule flexibility. Per diem, 8 hrs/week with day shifts.

Formación

• Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from accredited physical therapy program.
• Active Maryland License
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsabilidades

• Performs an initial examination and evaluation to establish impairment/diagnosis, prognosis and plan of care for all rehabilitation needs.
• Provides, or directs and supervises, therapy interventions and involves patient in planning and evaluation.
• Plans for discharge considering goals and outcomes with follow-up or referral as needed.
• Communicates, coordinates and documents all aspects of patient management with the care team; supervises rehab aides and staff.
• Manages schedule to accommodate census and inform management of caseload issues.
• Attends team meetings and communicates patient status; supports professional development.
