Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for the Acute Care Therapy Department at Shady Grove Medical Center. The PT will perform exams, develop plans of care, and coordinate with the care team for patients in acute, outpatient, or inpatient settings. Per diem, evenings, 6 hrs/week, with shifts 6:00p-9:00p.

New grads considered with fieldwork; active Maryland license and BLS required. Per diem rate is $60/hr; benefits include parking, EAP, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Licensed physical therapist certification in Maryland is required.
• New grads may be considered with fieldwork experience.
• Active BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial examination and evaluation for rehabilitation needs.
• Provide or supervise therapy interventions aligned with plan of care.
• Participate in discharge planning and care coordination.
