Job summary

Emory Healthcare in Atlanta seeks a Physical Therapist II to provide comprehensive evaluations, treatments, and education for patients with complex medical and surgical conditions. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and serve as a Clinical Instructor for students.

The role requires CAPTE-accredited PT program graduate, Georgia licensure, and BLS certification; at least one year of clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Physical Therapy Program accredited by CAPTE.
• Experience: At least one year of clinical experience as a physical therapist.
• Licensure: A valid, unencumbered Physical Therapist License approved by Georgia Board of Physical Therapy.
• Certifications: All: Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive evaluations and treatments for patients with complex medical conditions.
• Educates patients and families with tailored information.
• Develops and adjusts individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Mentions collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Mentors staff and participates in peer reviews as requested.
