Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking a full-time on-site Physical Therapist in Cambridge, MA. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to improve mobility and quality of life.

The role requires licensure or eligibility to practice in Massachusetts, a DPT or equivalent degree, and strong collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Hospital or outpatient experience is preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in physical therapy and rehabilitation; ability to design and implement treatment plans.
• Proficiency in patient care and home care, including education and discharge planning.
• Understanding of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions seen in PT.
• Current MA PT licensure or eligibility.
• DPT or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Effective communication and documentation; ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
• Experience in hospital or outpatient settings; new graduates welcome with strong clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to improve mobility and quality of life.
• Conduct physical assessments, implement rehabilitation programs, educate patients and families on home exercises and injury prevention; collaborate with physicians, nurses and the care team.
• Document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and coordinate safe transitions of care including home care when appropriate.
• Contribute to a patient-centered environment that emphasizes respect, safety, and positive clinical outcomes.
