Job summary

Spaulding Hospital-Cambridge, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist to help patients regain maximum function through evaluation, goal setting, manual therapy, and assistive devices. Graduation from an accredited PT program is required; licensure post-2016 requires a DPT. Internship experience is preferred.

This is a Per Diem, onsite role at 1575 Cambridge Street with day shifts. You will contribute to quality improvement and collaborate with nursing staff to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• Licensure from 2016 onward requires Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Internship or apprenticeship experience is preferred (1–2 years).

Responsibilities

• Completes billing sheet accurately by end of day.
• Evaluates effects of treatment and adjusts plans for maximum benefit.
• Performs patient assessment and establishes a plan of care.
• Provides in-service education for nursing personnel as needed.
• Identifies and documents goals and plans for reevaluation.
• Discusses evaluation, goals and treatment with patient and family.
• Participates in hospital-wide quality process improvement.
• Supervises PTAs according to policy and state regulations.
