Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) II for the Float Pool at Memorial City Hospital in Houston, TX. This part-time weekend day position supports patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including ADLs, vital signs, and comfort measures.

Qualifications

• One year of prior patient care experience, preferably in acute care.
• Active CNA certification preferred.
• BLS certification preferred or obtained within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Performs ADLs, vital signs, and activity documentation.
• Ensures safety and maintains a clean, safe environment.
• Assists in patient comfort and mobility and supports charting of care.
• Supports orientation of new staff and adherence to policies.
