Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our acute care team. The role emphasizes evaluation, planning and supervision of OT treatment, with a supportive team and a 27-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an occupational therapy educational program approved by the governing board.
• Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at time of hire and maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and implement individualized OT treatment plans.
• Document assessments, progress, and discharge planning in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, family/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families, and ensure safe delivery of therapy.
