Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. The role is full-time (36 hours per week) with a weekend shift, Sunday–Monday, 6:30 am–7:00 pm, in a busy acute-care environment.

You will administer OT treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, contribute to discharge planning, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the AOTA.
• Must possess a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license from the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers occupational therapy treatment according to the plan of care established by the Occupational Therapist.
• Documents treatment progress and communicates outcomes to the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborates with the Occupational Therapist to modify goals and plan of care as needed.
• Supervises the Therapy Technician and OTA student as required and ensures safe, cost-effective care.
