Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital, part of Southwest Healthcare, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the Rehabilitation team. You will evaluate patients, plan and direct therapy programs, and implement treatment plans tailored to diverse disabilities in an acute care setting.

The ideal candidate holds a California OT license, has a degree in Occupational Therapy, and is comfortable developing customized home programs for patients and families while collaborating with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• One year experience as occupational therapist in acute care facility preferred.
• Licensed by the California Board of Occupational Therapy required.
• Completion of degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• BLS (AHA) current certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan and direct occupational therapy modalities prescribed by a licensed physician.
• Develop and implement patient treatment programs in acute care.
• Instruct patients and families in home programs tailored to needs.
