Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to administer therapy interventions prescribed by a physician in an acute care setting. The role supports recovery and functional restoration for patients with injuries or disabilities.

A valid California OTA license and current BLS certification are required; an AA degree is included and one year of OTA experience in acute care is preferred. This position offers a dynamic work environment within the UHS network.

Qualifications

• Completion of A.A. degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Current California license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• BLS (AHA) current certification.
• One year experience as an OTA in an acute care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer occupational therapy interventions prescribed by a licensed physician.
• Administers treatments to restore function and prevent disability after injury, disease or physical disability.
• Develops professionally, supports and participates in departmental operations and development.
