Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist at Palmdale Regional Medical Center to evaluate, plan and administer OT modalities prescribed by a licensed physician. The position is based in Palmdale, CA, within a large hospital system offering comprehensive care services.

Requirements include a graduate OT degree, California OT license or eligibility, at least 1 year of acute care OT experience, and current BLS. Preferred CLT background is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as an occupational therapist in acute care setting preferred.
• CA OT license or eligibility letter prior to first day of employment.
• Graduate of an accredited OT curriculum with OT certification (Bachelor or Master).
• BLS (AHA) current certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and plan occupational therapy modalities as prescribed by a physician.
• Administer occupational therapy treatments and therapies.
• Maintain licensure, safety and documentation per regulations.
