Qualifications

• One year experience as an occupational therapy assistant in an acute care facility preferred.
• Completion of A.A. degree from a school or college approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Current California license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• BLS (AHA) current certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible administering occupational therapy interventions prescribed by a licensed physician.
• Administers treatments in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
• Develops self professionally, supports and participates in departmental operations and development.
