Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant specializing in Acute Care in Maryland. You will work under supervision to assess patients, design and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Acute Care required.
• CPR certification (AHA Healthcare Provider CPR) required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients using objective evaluation techniques to determine occupational limitations.
• Prescribe and implement treatment programs to restore function.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health care team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Promote improvements in service, department and hospital systems to benefit patient care.
• Align with organizational goals and objectives within Rehab Therapy Services.
