Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine seeks an Occupational Therapist Assistant specializing in Acute Care. You will work under supervision within the Rehab Therapy Services Inpatient team, evaluating patients and implementing treatment plans to restore function.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes. Minimum requirements include an OTA associates degree, state licensure, and CPR certification; 1 year of OTA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in OTA program completed and accredited.
• 1 year OTA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Acute Care required.
• Current state licensure as an OTA required.
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the Team Coordinator and Rehab Therapy Services Inpatient Manager.
• Evaluate patient function and implement a treatment plan.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary care team to optimize outcomes.
• Contribute to department and hospital process improvements.
