Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion in Aurora, CO seeks an Oncology RN for full-time night shift. This onsite role requires 72 hours per pay period with a focus on direct patient care in a 24/7 acute setting.

The ideal candidate provides nursing care using the nursing process, collaborates across disciplines, and supports patient transfer, discharge, and education while demonstrating strong clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure required; BLS certification.
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition; collaborates across disciplines for transfers, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial needs.
• Provides 24/7 Acute Care patient care.
• Educates patients/families on age-appropriate care; delegates tasks to staff as needed.
• Demonstrates critical thinking with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
