Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Oncology department in Aurora, CO. This onsite role requires day and night rotation with a 72-hour per pay period schedule.

Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with standards and organizational values. Relevant BLS CPR certification is required, with a minimum 6 months RN experience and a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program or state board of nursing approved program.
• Current RN licensure in state of practice (Colorado preferred).
• BLS/CPR certification required at start date and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on assessment.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition; coordinates care across disciplines.
• Provides care in a 24/7 Acute Care environment.
• Educates patient and family; delegates tasks to staff as appropriate.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and works with minimal supervision in fast-paced settings.
