Job summary

UCHealth is seeking an onsite Registered Nurse in the Oncology department at Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, Aurora, CO, for night shift coverage. The role is full-time with 72 hours per pay period, and pay ranges from $35.29 to $54.71 per hour based on experience.

Provides direct patient care using the nursing process within a 24/7 acute care setting. Requires RN licensure and BLS; bachelor’s degree is preferred. This is an onsite position with no remote option.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; RN licensure required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required; CPR acceptable.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• Onsite role with no hybrid or remote option.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on assessment to optimize outcomes.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition; collaborates across disciplines for transfers, discharge, and referrals.
• Provides care in a 24/7 Acute Care environment.
• Educates patients and families appropriate to age and condition; delegates to ancillary staff.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and decisive judgment in fast-paced settings.
