The Nursing Assistant at University of California - Irvine Health supports professional nursing staff by performing vital sign checks, assisting with hygiene and elimination, and keeping the unit clean and safe. Candidates should have a basic understanding of medical terminology, be willing to float between Orange and Irvine campuses, and hold a valid CNA or be enrolled in a nursing

Formación

• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Must be able to float between Orange and Irvine locations.
• Must have CNA/CMA or be enrolled in a nursing program with clinicals.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate in a therapeutic way.
• Current BLS certification required at hire.

Responsabilidades

• Take and record vital signs.
• Assist patients with hygiene and elimination.
• Maintain a clean and safe unit environment.
• Stock unit supplies and operate hospital equipment as directed.
• Perform routine clerical tasks and assist with related duties.
