Job summary

100 LCMC Health is seeking a Nurse Technician Senior to support the delivery of non-licensed patient care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. This role serves acutely ill patients with cardiac, medical, surgical, and post‑critical care needs in our New Orleans–area facilities.

You will assist with direct care activities, take vital signs, document care, maintain supplies, and help with unit communication and safety practices to ensure high quality, consistent care.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Ability to take vital signs and document care.
• Understanding of infection control practices.
• Effective communication with unit team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care and check-in.
• Take vital signs and assist with bathing, positioning, ambulation.
• Document care activities and communicate status to RN.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; perform clerical tasks.
• Practice safety, infection control.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
