LCMC Health in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Patient Care Tech to be on the front line of care. You will provide compassionate, hands-on nursing support, assist with data collection, and help with hygiene and daily living activities.

This role emphasizes teamwork and personal patient connection in a fast-paced hospital setting. As a trusted member of the care team, you will help maintain a safe, clean environment and support patient rounds, contributing to high patient satisfaction and quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• 1 year of clinical care experience; CNA or PCT experience preferred.
• Must be able to assist with data collection (vital signs, I&O) and basic patient care tasks.

Responsabilités

• Assist in collecting data for patient assessments, including vital signs, weights and glucose monitoring.
• Assist with patient hygiene, nutrition and personal care needs.
• Maintain a safe environment and a clean patient care area.
• Complete patient rounding per assignments to drive satisfaction and safety.
• Promote teamwork and follow directions to support patient care duties.
