LCMC Health in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support adult and geriatric patients through basic care, comfort, hygiene and safety under licensed staff. You’ll complete documentation and follow unit policies, with shifts at night.

You’ll assist with data collection, hygiene, nutrition, and personal care, maintain patient safety, communicate effectively, and support teamwork. A minimum of 1 year of related clinical experience or equivalent training is required; BLS

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of experience in a related clinical area or equivalent training in a medical assistant, certified nursing assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician program.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required; CPI required.
• Preferred CNA certification.

• Assists with data collection for assessment, including vital signs, weights, glucose monitoring and I&O.
• Assists with patient hygiene, nutrition, and personal care needs.
• Completes documentation of patient related tasks.
