LCMC Health in New Orleans is seeking a nursing support role to assist with patient care, safety, and flow. You will help with transport, positioning, and equipment handling while following standard precautions.

This position supports registered nurses and unit staff, participates in ongoing education, and contributes to high-quality care at Lakeview Hospital and surrounding facilities in Louisiana.

Formación

• Enrollment in an accredited nursing program and awaiting NCLEX licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to assist nursing staff with patient transport and care.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in maintaining a neat, organized patient care area to promote safety.
• Assist with patient transport, repositioning, and alignment with nursing staff.
• Answer calls, relay messages, and communicate updates to the RN.
• Transport specimens to the laboratory and handle supplies with accuracy.
• Participate in unit in-services and continuing education.
