Job summary

The State of Maryland seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Nurse-Midwife to provide direct medical care under physician supervision at Deer's Head Hospital Center in Salisbury. You will work with a team to treat chronic and complex cases in a warm family atmosphere.

Experience in acute or long-term care, strong coordination skills, and the ability to collaborate with families and staff are highly valued. Pain management and complex case scheduling will be part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Current certificate as Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Midwife from the Maryland Board.
• One year of experience as NP or NM; military service can substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Eligible to practice in Maryland with full licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical direction and quality medical care in collaboration with physicians.
• Deliver direct medical care to chronically and severely ill patients with complex needs.
• Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams and family communications.
