Job summary

A healthcare provider organization in Salisbury, Maryland is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their urgent care team. The ideal candidate will treat patients of all ages and perform minor procedures. The role requires the ability to manage time well and a preference for experience in urgent care or emergency medicine. Qualifications

• Must be able to see and treat patients of all ages.
• Must be able to perform minor procedures, such as suturing, I & D of abscesses.
• Should be able to perform basic EKG and X-ray interpretation.

Responsibilities

• See a wide range of non-emergent medical conditions.
• Treat minor trauma and perform minor procedures.
• Work weekends, holidays, and 12–13 hour shifts.

Skills

Ability to treat patients of all ages

Minor procedure performance (suturing, I&D)

Basic EKG and X-ray interpretation

Time management skills

Experience in Urgent Care, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine
