Osceola Medical Center is hiring an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift. The RN provides direct patient care using the nursing process and leads by example in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role requires WI RN licensure, a minimum of two years of RN experience (one year ED preferred), and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC or the willingness to obtain within six months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program with WI RN licensure in good standing.
• Minimum of two years RN experience (or equivalent).
• Minimum of one year ED experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC (or willing to obtain within 6 months).
• Meets OMC health requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care in assigned departments based on staffing needs and patient acuity.
• Float between designated clinical areas including Med/Surg, ED, and OB as trained and qualified.
• Assist with staffing shortages related to sick calls PTO vacancies and increased patient care demands.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, administer medications and treatments, and document care in the EMR.
• Respond to changes in patient condition, initiate appropriate interventions, and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Support admissions, discharges, transfers and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to prioritize assignments and respond to needs.
• Maintain required competencies and knowledge specific to the departments.
• Follow OMC policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and professional conduct.
