UC San Diego Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care under the supervision of an RN in an acute care setting. The role includes patient transport, specimen transport, and supporting unit operations with inventory management.

The candidate should have an active California CNA license, BART/BLS at hire with commitment to obtain BART within six months, and 1+ year of CNA experience in acute care. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Formación

• Active California CNA license.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six months of hire date.
• One (1) year or more of CNA experience in an acute care setting.
• Demonstrated ability to observe deviations from normal.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with patient transport, specimen transport, and inventory management.
• Cross-train to the role of Hospital Unit Secretary and assist administrative functions.
