Jacobs Medical Center Hematology and Cellular Therapy unit, affiliated with UC San Diego Health, seeks a CNA to support the continuum of care under RN supervision. You will provide basic patient care, assist with daily living activities, and transport patients and specimens within a 36-bed, private room unit.

Experience with EPIC/UCSD systems is a plus; bilingual in Spanish/English is valued. The role requires flexibility for varied hours and weekends, with an emphasis on teamwork and patient

Qualifications

• Active California CNA license.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six months of hire date.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and communicate patient status and safety changes clearly.

Responsabilités

• Provide basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Transport patients and specimens; manage supplies and inventory.
• Support unit operations, participate in training/evaluation of peers, and assist with scheduling and administrative tasks.
