Job summary

Kindred Hospital Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in patient care. You will assist with daily activities, provide comfort, and help ensure a clean, safe environment for patients and families.

Your role includes vital sign checks, monitoring intake and output, and assisting with transfers, admissions, and discharges under RN direction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; ability to perform essential functions.
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification.
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum six months’ experience in acute or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Record measurements (temp, pulse, respiration, etc.) and document promptly.
• Prepare patient rooms and equipment for admissions/transfers.
• Assist with patient meals, feeding, and item preparation.
• Respond to patient calls and paging systems promptly.
