Job summary

Banner Health in Mesa, AZ seeks an Adult Acute Care Certified Patient Care Assistant to deliver routine patient care for adults with renal/diabetic needs. Night shifts are 6PM–6:30AM with weekend/holiday rotations and a $1/hour weekend differential and 18% night differential when applicable.

The role includes data collection, charting, supply management, and basic procedures under supervision. CNA licensure and BLS are required with strong communication and organizational skills expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA in state of practice required for new hires.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience or healthcare setting preferred.
• Excellent organizational, human relations and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient health.
• Collect patient data including vitals and input/output.
• Report abnormalities to licensed professional and communicate patient status.
• Perform procedures and use equipment under supervision of licensed staff.
• Support department operations with receptionist/clerical tasks.
