Job summary

Med Cadre is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in an acute care setting. The role involves providing comprehensive ADL care, following individualized care plans, and maintaining patient dignity and safety.

Qualified candidates have CNA certification and BLS, with experience in hospital environments. This position requires night shifts (3-12 hr) with strong documentation and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CNA in an acute/hospital setting.
• Able to read, write at a level to fulfill documentation requirements.
• Physical Demands include lifting over 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides ADL care including oral, grooming, hygiene, dressing, bathing and ambulation.
• Delivers care per patient care plan with dignity and privacy.
• Communicates resident needs to the nursing team and documents appropriately.
• Ensures safety: uses gait belts, lifts and infection control procedures.
• Maintains equipment cleanliness and reports unsafe items.
