Job summary

Encino Hospital Medical Center in Encino, California, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the MST department on the nights shift. You will assist with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and help maintain a safe environment under the supervision of the RN.

Requirements include an active CNA certificate, current BLS, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months of acute care or physician’s office experience.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of acute care hospital or physician’s office experience preferred.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• The CNA in the MST department assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
