Job summary

ScionHealth’s Baldwin Park facility is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support registered nurses in delivering patient care in a busy acute/rehabilitation setting. You will assist with ADLs, vital signs, and routine treatments under RN supervision.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus CNA and BLS certifications; six months of acute or long-term care experience is preferred. Benefits are available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to perform essential functions.
• Minimum six months' experience in acute or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned area.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Takes and records vital signs and inputs data promptly.
• Prepares patient rooms and assists in admissions/transfers/discharges.
• Assists with patient meals and feeding as needed.
