Job summary

Kindred Hospital Brea is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide patient care under the supervision of registered nurses in our 48-bed facility.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, help with transfers, admit and discharge patients, and keep rooms clean and comfortable.

Qualifications include High School Diploma, current Nursing Assistant and BLS certifications, and at least six months' experience in acute or long-term care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification.
• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum six months’ experience in acute or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and patient care.
• Take and record vital signs; document findings promptly.
• Prepare rooms and assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Respond to call lights and support RN/LVN/LPN as needed.
