The advanced practice registered nurse will collaborate with supervising physicians to manage complex acutely ill patients using in-person, telehealth, or other communication methods to ensure high-quality care across the health system.

The APRN will assess patients, order and interpret tests, develop diagnoses and treatment plans, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing.
• BLS and APRN licensure required.
• DEA license and ACLS required.
• Nurse Practitioner national certification.
• Florida CEU/licensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Directly manages care of complex acutely ill patients, using face-to-face or telehealth modalities.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develop medical diagnoses and treatment plans; educate patients and families.
