Select Specialty Hospital - Palm Beach, part of Select Medical, seeks an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our inpatient care team for chronically critically ill patients. The APRN will lead rounds, coordinate care, mentor staff, and uphold evidence-based practice while advancing patient outcomes in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Permanent State Registered Nurse License (RN)
• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing Practice
• National Nurse Practitioner Certification (Adult, Acute Care or Family)
• BLS and ACLS
• Hospital experience
• Interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsabilités

• Conduct daily clinical rounds and lead multidisciplinary rounds with pharmacists and direct caregivers.
• Assess patients, order/interpret tests, and adjust care plans within scope of practice.
• Coordinate care with patients and families to ensure continuity and satisfaction.
• Respond to staff concerns and stabilize patients when conditions change.
• Document assessments and plans in collaboration with physicians and teams.
• Mentor clinical staff and lead clinical initiatives while adhering to ethical and service standards.
