Job summary
Baptist Health in Miami, FL seeks an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to manage the care of acutely ill patients via face-to-face, telehealth, or other communication. The APRN is an expert clinician who orders and interprets tests, develops diagnoses and treatment plans, prescribes regimens, educates patients and families, and leads a clinical team.
This role requires Masters, Florida RN experience at least 3 years, BLS, ACLS, DEA license, and NP certification; hospital credentialing as
Qualifications
- Masters degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Active Florida APRN license or eligibility.
- DEA license required as per specialty/function.
- ACLS required as per specialty/function.
- Nurse Practitioner National Certification required.
Responsibilities
- Directly manages care of acutely ill patients via face-to-face or telehealth.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests; develop diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Prescribe medical regimens and educate patients/families regarding diagnoses and plan of care.
- Lead clinical team and coordinate patient care across the health system.
