Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, seeks an RN Charge Nurse to provide leadership and clinical expertise on their shift. You will coordinate unit resources, ensure appropriate staffing, and serve as a role model for professional practice.

You will lead an interdisciplinary team, develop care plans with patient and family involvement, and monitor outcomes to drive quality and safety. This role requires BSN and RN licensure with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Unit Specific Certification (ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Experience in the assigned clinical area.
• Mentoring experience.
• BSN required within four years of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status with interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and implement individualized plan of care with patient/family involvement.
• Direct and coordinate the interdisciplinary care team.
• Plan staffing and resources to meet patient needs and budget.
• Monitor outcomes, revise plans, and ensure quality and safety.
