Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an experienced RN Charge Nurse to provide leadership and clinical expertise on their shift and department. They coordinate unit resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels based on patient needs, both clinically and financially.

They collaborate with the department manager and interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans of care, mentor staff, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on a 30-hour weekly schedule in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Unit Specific Certification as required (ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Experience in assigned clinical area.
• Mentoring experience.
• BSN within four years of hire/promotion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide clinical expertise on shift within the department.
• Coordinate staffing and resources to meet patient needs and financial constraints.
• Develop individualized care plans with input from patient, family, and team.
• Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation.
• Mentor staff and promote nursing professionalism.
