Job summary

RTX in Massachusetts is seeking an Actuation Systems Leader to drive complex actuation and motion control projects within the Radar Analog and Power Department. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on engineering, and collaboration across IPT teams to deliver high‑performance solutions for defense applications.

The candidate will lead design, testing, integration and production support, with a focus on actuation systems, power conversion and control strategies. U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in STEM and minimum 8 years of experience; or an advanced degree in a related field with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience with electromagnetic or electrohydraulic control actuation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex tasks and mentor other professionals within the Radar Power and Digital organization.
• Develop technical solutions for actuation systems and motion control challenges across product lifecycle.
• Contribute to system engineering in collaboration with electrical, mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams.
• Support life cycle stages from concept to production and field support.
• Interact with customers and leadership to advance project execution.
