Job summary

PEMCO in Seattle seeks an experienced Actuary to join the Product Development team and drive profitability assessments, pricing analyses, reserving, and modeling to meet market demands. You will leverage data-driven insights to support decisions and sustainable growth.

This role targets actuaries with ACAS designation, 5+ years of property casualty experience, and strong programming skills (Python, R, SAS, SQL) in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of property casualty actuarial experience focused on rate-making and personal lines.
• Strong programming ability and expertise in Python, R, SAS, and SQL.
• ACAS designation required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal loss reserving to track and analyze trends, ensuring financial stability.
• Employ advanced actuarial techniques for detailed pricing analysis and rating variables.
• Assist in developing sophisticated actuarial models using predictive techniques.
• Collaborate with business partners on product decisions and impacts.
• Prepare regulatory filings and align with company objectives.
• Provide feedback on the annual forecast and identify emerging risks.
