PEMCO is seeking an experienced Actuary to join our Product Development team in Seattle-area markets, focusing on profitability assessments and process improvements. You will develop pricing, reserving, and modeling strategies and leverage predictive analytics to guide decision making with management support.

Qualifikationen

• B.A. or B.S. degree in Mathematics or equivalent required.
• 5 years of property casualty actuary experience with focus on rate-making and personal lines.
• Strong technical and programming aptitude.
• ACAS is required.
• Detail-oriented with precision and thoroughness.
• Problem-solving, analytical and collaborative skills required.
• MS Office proficiency; Excel expert.
• Knowledge of mathematics, statistics and modeling; strong programming skills.
• Proficiency with Python, R, SAS and/or SQL; Radar/Emblem/ResQ knowledge a plus.
• Analytical mindset; able to integrate data and work with external vendors.

• Conduct internal loss reserving to track and analyze trends.
• Perform pricing analysis and refine rate level and rating variables.
• Develop actuarial models using predictive techniques and statistics.
• Collaborate with business partners on product decisions and impacts.
• Prepare regulatory filings aligning with objectives and compliance.
• Contribute to the annual forecast and communicate trends and risks.
• Investigate actuarial issues and emerging trends.
• Provide actuarial consultation when advanced mathematics and modeling are required.
