Job summary

The Standard is seeking an Actuarial Developer II to lead efforts expanding the Actuarial Technology Platform (ATP) adoption within the Actuarial Reporting, Workflow, and Analytics team. You will oversee solution design for process improvements in Employee Benefits financial reporting and pricing, working closely with data and analytics teams to modernize legacy processes.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in actuarial or insurance, strong programming in Databricks, Python, SQL, SAS, and hands-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial or related field; minimum five years in actuarial/insurance.
• Experience in actuarial transformation, pricing, reporting, and underwriting is preferred.
• Proficiency in Databricks, Python, SQL, SAS; Jira and Agile methodologies required.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities to expand adoption of the Actuarial Technology Platform (ATP).
• Translate designs into actionable change requirements for financial reporting and pricing.
• Collaborate with Actuarial Data Management, Enterprise Data & Analytics, and Platform Enablement teams.
• Provide governance and reliability for legacy actuarial solutions while supporting RWA initiatives.
