Job summary

The Standard is seeking an Actuarial Developer II on the Actuarial Reporting, Workflow, and Analytics (RWA) team to lead ATP-based enhancements in Employee Benefits financial reporting and pricing. You will collaborate with Actuarial Data Management, Enterprise Data & Analytics, and Platform Enablement to migrate legacy processes to ATP technology stacks.

In this role, you’ll drive AI-forward actuarial automation using Databricks, Python, SQL, and SAS, while ensuring governance and reliability

Qualifications

• Experience in actuarial transformation, process improvement, and technology implementation.
• Experience in actuarial pricing, financial reporting, and underwriting (preferred).
• Proficiency with Databricks, Python, SQL, SAS, Jira and Agile methodologies (required).
• Experience with Codex or Claude Code (preferred).
• Familiarity with accounting under Statutory, U.S. GAAP, or Economic bases (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-enabled development, analysis, testing, and documentation in daily work.
• Promote integration of advanced AI capabilities to strengthen actuarial processes.
• Act as the actuarial technology lead while expanding expertise in Databricks.
• Lead financial reporting and pricing initiatives by translating solution designs into actionable change requirements.
• Create and present future-state process maps for stakeholders.
• Provide operational support for the RWA team and legacy actuarial solutions, maintaining governance and reliability.
