Job summary

The Standard is seeking an Actuarial Developer to design, build, and operate software powering actuarial work. You will translate actuarial and financial needs into automated solutions, deploying from design to deployment and partnering across the organization to enable data-driven decision making.

The role emphasizes AI integration, hands-on development, and collaboration with actuaries, IT, and business partners to raise delivery quality and speed.

Qualifications

• Experience building analytical or automated data solutions used in actuarial/financial processes.
• Strong technical design and documentation abilities.
• Experience with AI-enabled development tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated business solutions using Databricks and SQL across the SDLC.
• Build and support actuarial and financial analysis software and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with actuaries, finance, product and IT to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Lead adoption of AI-enabled development practices and governance.
