American International Group (AIG) is seeking a Summer Intern in the Actuarial department. You will be immersed in day-to-day operations of a global insurer, gaining hands-on experience on actuarial analyses, pricing and reserving, with mentors and masterclasses throughout the 9-week program.

Join a diverse team and develop technical knowledge while progressing through the Actuarial Development Program and actuarial exams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree to be received by June 2028 (unofficial transcript required).
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Interest in actuarial field and progress toward actuarial credentials; Excel + programming knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and apply actuarial techniques to quantify risk and support pricing and reserving.
• Assist with analyses, models, forecasts and reports for business decisions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Claims, Operations, Risk Management and other teams.
• Monitor trends and provide insights to support recommendations.
• Present actuarial findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Progress through AIG’s Actuarial Development Program and actuarial exams.
